This article will: show you how to Log into Chrome, Pin Chrome to your Taskbar, and Preset your Startup.

Google Chrome

  1. Open Chrome on your computer
  2. In the right of the screen, you will see a silhouette Click on the icon to sign in.
  3. You can find your login information in your Employee Login Information document. 

Tip: The nice thing about signing into the actual browser is that all of your favorites, bookmarks, and saved passwords are available on any device that you sign into using your work account.


Pin Chrome to your Taskbar

Pin Google Chrome to your taskbar by opening the Start menu, start typing Chrome and you should see Google Chrome appear in your start menu. Click to open(Note, if you would like to pin Chrome to your taskbar right click over Chrome at the bottom of your screen and click Pin to Taskbar)


Set your Startup Page

You can control what page or pages appear when you launch Chrome on your computer via three options: Have a new tab open, Continue where you left off, or Open a specific set of pages. Because you will use your web browser often (Suggested: Open a Specific Set of Pages).


Open a Specific Set of Pages

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.

  2. Preset the tabs you want to have open when you click on Chrome.

  3. At the top right, click the far right button that looks like a vertical ellipsis then select Settings.

  4. Under "On startup," select Open a specific page or set of pages.

  • Click Add a new page. Enter the web address and click Add.

  • Click Use current pages.

To update your pages, to the right of a page, click More Edit or Delete.
