How do I take my Google Drive documents with me (Students only)?

Modified on Mon, 7 Jun, 2021 at 3:08 PM

Either upon graduating, or when transferring out of King's Way, students often want or need to transfer their Google Drive files and possibly their Gmail with them. Below is a link to a video (not produced by KWCS) that walks you through using Google Transfer to do this. (This process works for students only, not staff of KWCS).

You must have a personal Gmail account to transfer your files to for this process to work. If you do not, watch the video from the beginning on another option.

Note: a student's Google Account is deleted either

  • three weeks after withdrawing (during the school year), or
  • at the end of the year on June 30th (affects graduating or students transferring out).

Please make sure you transfer your Google Drive files within those timeframes.
